Sky Marshall Maru stood behind the podeuim, overlooking her small audeince.

Colnal Collins was sitting in the front row, anxcuise to see why she was here.

To his left sat a tall brooding man. His face looked like it was chsitled from stone- it's only blimmish was major scaring over his left eye that had been replaced with a cybernetic eye. The cybernetic eye looked completly normal, except the pupil was a a glowing green light. He was muscular and in shape, his arms were like tree trunks. In comparrison to his arms, his thighs and legs were almost like toothpicks. Few people knew it besides his CO and the higher ups, but his legs were cybernetic as well. He had gone his entire 27 year career without a major injury, that was until Big K. Atleast he got a promotion and a few medals for his bravery out of it.

To the right of the brooding man sat a very young woman in a fleet uniform. Like all fleet officers, her head was bald under her cap. Unlike most female fleet officers however, she did not wear a sports-bra to restrain her ample bossom. Most women in the fleet found large breast to hender their physical capabilities, she did not. Few people took her seruisly, she should have been a model, but the ribbons and metals on her chest convenced them otherwise. Her rank didn't hurt either.

Maru began her little speech to three officer infront of her.
"First lets get introductions out of the may. The young lady her is Captain Turanga Miller of the SICON Fleet. She had left her prevuise command and will now be the captain of the UFCS Jason Dunham*, which will be responsible for carrying a special brigade of MI, and their escorts, to wherever they are needed. The man next to her is Brigadeir Genereal Lucas M. Lance, who left his prevuise command to replace Generel Archer as the brigade leader of these special MI troops. Next to him is Colnal Michael Collins, he is the CO in charge of Fort Custer and is responsible for all the fine ammenities you can find here. You all know who I am."

She stoped for a second and took a sip of water. "The special troops, Mr. Collins and Ms. Miller, are the first men and women to be useing the new M1-A1 Personal Powered Armour." She pressed a button on a small remoted and a life size 3D image of the suit was displayed jsut a few feet from them. Tiem to time text would apear to exsplain certain aspects of the unit.
"This armor amplifies the strength and speed of the trooper a great deal. One MI in this can do the job of around 10 others, or so we beleive so far sense a true field test has not occured. We have variant to fit certain duties needed in the field."

She pressed another button and the LCD behind her lit up with diagrams of the suits used by the different classes and the equipment unuiqe to each.
"We have found it best to use them in five man teams. A commanding Officer, an engineir, a field medic, a heavy weapons specialist, and one of three special services trooper. We feel this gives them everything they need for any situation. Right now an eigth suit of armor is in the works for an all-purpose trooper. These suits of armor could very well turn the tide of the war so dramaticly in our favour that victory would be all but assured."

She cleared her throat and took another sip of water. She used the remote to switch the 3D display of the power armour to a 3D display of the planet Pluto with three Areas being highlighted in red. The LCD screen begin rolling footage of a single arachnid warrior running along the barren Pluto landscape.

"We have proof the Arachnids are still here. Not all of them left with the Transport bug, and apprently we were unable to kill all those that were left. Federation Scientist hypothaseis that there were eggs left in their tunnels that had went into a type of hybernation, just hatching in the past month or so. Scanners and psychics have been unable to cofnirm the number of Arachnids present. We beilve they are very few in number, otherwise they would have became hostile by now. We plan to launch an attack within the next few days, useing the M1-A1s. Twenty of them have a better shot at clearing out the bugs than a hundred thousand of our Light Armour troopers in enviroment suits. Mainly because they are less likely to suffer a tear that would kill them instantly here, which had made for the majority of casualties in the last two campaigns."

Maru took another sip of water and began to detail her plans for the attack.

*: Jason Dunham was awarded the medal of honor for his actions on April 14th of 2004 in Husaybah, Iraq. While intercepting an attack on an American Convoy and enemy soldeir lobbed a grenade in the thick of his squad. Corporal Dunham jumped on the grenade with his helmet over it to protect his squad. General Lance walked into the briefing room, it was filled with fed net reporters and cameras. At the main poduim stood the Sky marshell in chief, flanked by the MI Sky Marshell, William Sonters, and two of her staff. Lance was the first one to enter, he saluted and waited for the Sky marshell in Chief to acknowledge him.

"Hello Sky Marshell, this the big reveal? This our mission?" Lance asked, the Sky Marshell only nodded.

15 Minutes later. (I will assume all of the officers and warrent officers made it in time.)

The Cameras focused in on Sky Marshell Maru and the lights dimmed.
"Today we reveal the Federations newest weapon against the bug threaght. It is not a sword, but a shield. Armour against the slings and arrows of our foes. I present to you the M1-A1 "Aegis" Personnal Powered Mobility Suit. The Aegis suit enhances the strength, speed, endurance and killing power of the elite men and women who wear it."
A 3D Image of the suit flashes into place, just to the Sky Marshells left.
"And these brave men our the first officers to command a mission useing the Aegis suits! All of them are decorated and highly esteemed." The cameras turn to focus on the officers, pausing for a few seconds before zooming in on General Lance.
"And this is Brigadier General Lance. He has given his body to the federation fighting terrorism and even during the first and last Pluto Campaign. He has won the Federations highest honors and stands now to cause the arachnids to tremble in their holes. I can not say where the Aegis will be deployed, but rest assured, the bugs will learn to fear those who bear the shield of Zeus!"

A slight pause for clapping and heroic posses. The Camera men are quickly exscorted out and the door is locked.
From a look of pride the Sky marshell took on a dire face.

"Here is the short and skinny people. This information is rated at the highest level. Whether we win or lose no one is to ever learn about what will be takeing place. Talk and your neck will snap, I am afraid. This, is I am afraid, a snafu from Ex-Sky Marshell Deans. Myself as well, as I did send that platoon to check up on his resaults.

Its simple. Not all the bugs left Pluto. They are still here. So far only fifteen sightings have been recorded, and each time it is only a single worker- or so our scientist beleive. As some of you know it is hard to spot the difference between the worker and warrior caste. In either case it is your jobs to go in and clean them out. We have four nests that we have confirmed."

The 3D map pops up to show the locations and then flows into maps of bug tunnels that seem incomplete.

"One squad each per nest. Your job is to crawl down these holes as far as you can go and asses the situation. If it gets too harrey, then you have two options. Option one is to return to Fort Custer Asap. Option Two is more dire. Each squad leader is being equiped with an K1-15 Suitcase Nuke. Before use you are to radio to all squads and make sure of their locations. Because of the tunnel networks, and the fact we have been unable to map them all, we can not tell you the blast raduise other than on flat earth it would be 1,000 yards. There is a timer on the devise, and its blast is incredibly intense- Nothing will survive. That is your last resort."

The 3D map changes to a display of a flame thrower and a Pegasus Skimmer.
"Each squad will be given a Hellfire Flame Thrower, just out of R&D, as well as our new Pegasus Skimmer for travel to your recon points. The Flame Thrower should make for an excellent tool in the tight corners of bug city. It has a range of 60 feet of pure flame and can last for two minutes of continued use. Any trooper my use it, but they will have to give up their side arm to make room for it. The rest is up to you troopers. I just hope we are acting scared, and a new invasion isn't comeing soon."
