Tonight was the night I was gonna go ahead and tie up the stories in a nice little bow so we can begin the next era.
However, at noon I got a phone call that my Great Aunt passed away that morning. Her wake is tomarrow and funeral is on Friday. So soon? Yep, we know what killed her and have refused autopsies and all that other mess. Exactly 3 days ago a doctor told her she had 3 months to live. She showed him.
I jest, but thats because I knew she would be ok with it. I love all my family, but could only ever stand five of them outside my parents. One has long sense passed, and my great Aunt was among the number as well. I wasn't there to see her when she found how bad the cancer had spread, so I'll be damned if I won't be there for the wake and funereal.
She was special to me, because she was where I got most of my personality from. We were both oddities in this family, now I am the only weirdo.
So, if Abilon wishes he can go ahead and tie up the stories and decide where to send you next--thats up to him. Its alot of work fixing up a new base and coeming up with a new mission idea (the name and type of the ship yall will be useing was in the briefing room posts.)
Monday I will tie up all the loose ends I wanted to do today. Right now, I just want to chill. I finished my packing for the flight tomarrow and the whole thing is jsut setting in. So, I'm gonna pound a few back and make weird phone calls in her memory.
God bless you Aunt Kat, where ever you end up.
